Synopsis:
The Other Guys follows Detective Allen Gamble (Ferrell), a forensic accountant who's more interested in paperwork than hitting the streets, and Detective Terry Hoitz (Wahlberg), who has been stuck with Allen as his partner ever since an embarrassing public incident with his quick trigger finger. Allen and Terry idolize the city's top cops, Danson and Manzetti (Johnson and Jackson), but when an opportunity arises for the Other Guys to step up, things don't quite go as planned.

It's hard for me to be anything but extremely excited for this regardless of what it looks like so anything that I say here is really sort of irrelevant.  The Good Cop Bad Cop scene already had me in stitches and the fact that Michael Keaton is going to be in something I'm excited about seeing again just makes me really happy.  Smug Samuel Jackson doesn't hurt either.  Good times.

Mark Wahlberg Talks To Christmas Animals On SNL

I know it shouldn't but this kills me every time.  Saturday's episode was hosted by James Franco and for the first time in what seems like forever it was tolerable.  This season has been Ozzie Canseco bad.

The artist formerly known as Marky Mark certainly has had quite a career.  Underwear model, New Kids On The Block sibling, gangster pop rapper, and now respected movie star.  Here we have a nice glimpse into how to get your body all fly and shit yo.  Just like Marky. via

Is it just me or is the Marky Mark and "cousin" relationship a little too eerily similar to a real life Dirk Diggler and Chest Rockwell?

Synopsis:
Centers on a young girl who has been murdered and watches over her family - and her killer - from heaven. She must weigh her desire for vengeance against her desire for her family to heal.

Peter Jackson's adaptation of the best-selling novel by Alice Sebold looks pretty riveting. Considering the cast has two Oscar nominees as well as two Oscar winners, let alone Jackson's personal accomplishments, it seems pretty clear that this film is lined up for some serious awards consideration. I'm very interested to see how Jackson handles the middle ground between the living and the dead, from the trailer it looks like it will be handled with care and awesome. Nice.
