The Karate Kid

Kids Incorporated Mondays: Cruel Summer

If timeliness was ahead of awesomeness on our priority list we would have made this week's choice coincide with the Jaden Smith starring terdsicle remake of The Karate Kid, but we are only human, or are we dancer? It's not the greatest performance of all time or anything, but it is the Kids Incorporated crew covering Bananarama which in and of itself is pretty darn special. Comment away internet.

KidsIncorporated - Holy excess smoke batman!

timberwolfbabe - Another great song from Martika. The episode was good as well.

dac719 - Anybody remember this song in the movie "The Karate Kid"?

jonathanmrussell - Martika was rocking the short skirts in the first season of kids inc lol

Totally LOL jonathanmrussell. Oh you silly Fergie fans, can't live with em and they can't pee standing up. Happy Monday everybody.

Ralph Macchio Is Back And Badder Than Ever

For those of you that have been trying to block it out of your brain, this weekend should finally start the healing process as The Karate Kid remake starring Will Smith's Mini-Me and Jackie Chan hits theaters and should subsequently begin its slow death. The good news is that the original's star is finally seeing a return to the limelight thanks in large part to the upcoming award-winning documentary Wax On, F*ck Off. I feel I should warn you, there's some hard cold truths in this video, and it might not be the Macchio you remember. Either way it seems that now is a better time than ever to pay tribute to that kid from Reseda that won our collective hearts by emulating a maintenance man's balancing trick.

Also cocaine shaped in a smiley face.   [via the daily what]

Tribute Tuesdays: William Zabka

If you like watching individuals perform at the highest level in any given profession, you surely appreciate the work of the subject of this week's Tribute Tuesday, a Mr William Zabka.  Blessed with the good looks of a teddy bear and the machismo of the mythical Rico Suave, Zabka stole every scene he was in, which wasn't really that crazy considering he was the all time coolest high school dude ever.  Luckily youtuber bapettit made this fine piece of art above titled The William Zabka Trilogy so we can all relive the glory that is Zabka.

And holy smurf weed Daniel-son.  I just checked the IMDB page and apparently Zabka is in Hot Tub Time Machine playing a guy named Rick!  If he is the bad guy in the movie paying homage to his former dominance I may just start crying.  Truth be told I already am because of the Elton John section of The William Zabka Trilogy.

Mr Miyagi's Meerschaum Pipe Will Be Mine!

Never in a million years did I think I would own a Meerschaum pipe. Never in a billion years did I think I would own some of Mr Miyagi's personal collection. Never in a trillion years did I think his widow would be forced to sell his personal belongings on Ebay.

The world is full of surprises. Presumably thanks to the awesome economy and Miyagi's penchant for liquor, you can now head on over to Euromorita's Ebay Store. But don't even think about bidding on the Meerschaum Pipe. That shit is all mine.
