Spoon Does Got Nuffin On Letterman

See video

Easy to get lost in the shuffle, but Spoon did release a pretty awesome album of their own this year.  Here is Britt Daniel and the gang performing the track Got Nuffin off of [amazon B002VDZIIS] on The Late Show with David Letterman.  Strong performance of a strong track off a strong album.  [via consequence of sound]

Spoon's Written In Reverse Video Is Pretty Meh

Here's the official video for the first single Written In Reverse from Spoon's new album Transference.  A gritty funky tune that Britt Daniel and company apparently thought was the perfect match for a boring black and white studio performance video.  Color me unimpressed, still like the song though.  [via pitchfork]

Spoon's New Album Transference Streaming On NPR

The title pretty much says it all.  Britt Daniel and the gang are back with their first self-produced album, [amazon B002VDZIIS].  Thankfully as part of NPR's awesome Exclusive First Listen series you can check out the entire album for free before it's official release on January 19th.  The band hits the road for a national tour supporting the album starting March 17th.  Dates available after the jump.  [via]
