Festival Updates: Outside Lands Dates, Nateva Lineup
We've been a little behind the ball the last few weeks as we've had some backend issues that would make one of Charlie Sheen's goddesses uncomfortable. That being said the world is still rocking it's way along without worrying about the poor little website that is being left behind. Good thing I've been sticking to the Cheetah blood instead of Tiger because now I can run really fast and catch up. Or just make a post with multiple stories. Yeah, let's do that, I hate running.
First things first we have the exemplary news that Outside Lands will return to three days as opposed to last year's mess of a two day festival. This will of course once again return to Golden Gate Park, although there is no word yet on if they will keep the other horrible adjustment from last year with the rearranged stages. The good times are set to go down August 12th-14th and amazingly the only rumor I have heard includes Misters Anastasio, McConnell, Fishman and Gordon. Again, rumor.
As for things that aren't rumor how about the second annual Nateva Festival's initial lineup? It's really meh and no longer takes place over the 4th of July but hey, whatever floats your boat. Headlining this year's festivities will be Thievery Corporation, STS9, The Gregg Allman Band as well as a solo set from Bob Weir. Joining in on the fun in Oxford, Maine will be Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeroes, Keller Williams, John Butler Trio, The McLovins and The New Deal. This year's party will occur from August 4-7 and tickets are on sale now over at the official website.
