Late last week there was some buzz about a possible new Arcade Fire single. Almost immediately after it hit the blogosphere the band's representatives shot down the rumors as patently false. After that news made the waves the band updated their website with the "post card" above. Oh you representatives and your silly games.
If you want to believe Amazon, it would appear the 12" in question will be released June 1st. That's what she said. Considering the band temporarily changed their web banner to state "Arcade Fire Presents The Suburbs" it looks like Amazon might be onto something as the listing provided goes by Suburbs/Month Of May. Either way we will have new music coming from Arcade Fire soon, we'll keep you updated.
