On September 4th frontman Ben Bridwell and the rest of Band of Horses had a gig scheduled in Tromso, Norway at Dognvillfestivalen. It just so happens there was also a wedding scheduled for that day that had some connection to the band. Apparently when the groom Nijal proposed to his lovely bride Elin it was actually at a Band of Horses show. When the lucky couple found out their wedding actually coincided with the band being in their country, let alone town, they contacted management and told the story of their engagement. Showing a little perseverance can get you anywhere, the end result was a surprise appearance by the band at their wedding where they performed "Marry Song" for the gathered masses.
