Tenacious D Replaces Beastie Boys At Outside Lands

The "greatest band in the world", Tenacious D, will headline Sunday night August 30th at the 2nd Outside Lands Festival in picturesque Golden Gate Park. While it may not be the greatest headline replacement in some peoples eyes, I have no doubt their set will have the crowd in full on rock and roll mode, coupled with a ton of laughs, and that is a pretty good combo to end 3 days of fun in the sun.

I'm also fairly certain my butt cheeks is warm.

Best News Ever Phish Halloween Festival

The title says it all. A 3 Day Phish festival over Halloween weekend. The most prevalent rumor I have seen is that the festival will take place in Indio, CA at the location of the annual Coachella and Stagecoach Festivals. The other rumors I have heard involve Sam Boyd stadium, which previously housed the short lived, but insanely awesome, Vegoose Festival. Either way it should be out west based on the weather. I'm so excited I can hardly stand it. Hopefully they will do the proper tribute and select Thriller as this year's musical costume.
