Nerds Can Finally Get Their iPads April 3rd

Synchronize your swatches and set your nerd boners to explosivo because Apple just announced when your iPad dreams can become your iPad reality.  You nerds can pre-order your wi-fi iPads starting March 12th and they will be available in stores April 3rd.  The 3G version is going to take a little longer nerds.  I'm only referencing nerds so much because I'm trying to convince myself I don't need an iPad until the second version and also because I was lucky enough to stumble across this kick ass video yesterday.

Home made music video for the Revenge Of The Nerds theme song?  Yes please.  I hope CappyNJ is a girl because I think I'm in nerd love.  Head on over to Apple for all your iPad needs.

This song kills, so much so that I changed my mind from a Holiday theme at the last second.  It's actually a pretty good cover in Kids terms too.  I am sure The Jets are proud. 

To be fair you may have forgotten the awesome that this song provides for a milisecond, let alone the insanely awesome video below.  It's certainly a good way to start your week, if you are in to that sort of thing.

What?  You want more?  Prepare to have your mind blown.

While researching The Jets for this extensive award worthy post, I discovered some stuff.  First off they appeared on a bunch of soundtracks that are remarkably forgettable, not too shocking right?  Well, they also did the theme song for Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers.  If you are in the right age bracket for that to even somewhat excite you congratulations, you are old.

I was very, very excited.  So much so that I've been watching the intro video on repeat for the last five minutes.  Happy Monday
