Tim Burton's Weekend At Bernie's Looks Creepier

If I was the shallow type that cared about records and such, I probably would have the Guiness World Record for times renting the same movie from the same store.  That movie of course would be the 1989 comedy classic Weekend At Bernie's.  A close second would be the Making of Thriller tape, a very close second.  Of course I am also a fan of Tim Burton so you can imagine my joy when I found out Mr Burton's next project was his own take on what at Weekend at Bernie's would be like.  Spooktacular.

I do feel obligated to state that in no way does this look as good as the original.   [via filmdrunk]

New Pictures From Tim Burton's Wonderland

Here is some amazing new concept art from Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland courtesy of USAToday. Amazingly it looks like everything you'd expect from Alice In Wonderland interpreted through the amazing mind of Tim Burton. You can drag your mouse through the following pics and move them around and stuff. I'm pretty sure the trees are designed to look like Kevin from Up, but others might argue its just the flamingo's that are present throughout the Wonderland story. There are more character shots after the jump including Anne Hathaway as the White Queen, Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen, and Matt Lucas as Tweedledee and Tweedledum.

George McFly Does Alice

The newest addition to Tim Burton's cashcow Alice in Wonderland, is one of my favorite actors Crispin Glover. Glover has signed on to play the Knave of Hearts in the 3D adaptation.

Glover joins Mia Wasikowska as Alice and a cast that includes Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway and Helena Bonham Carter. Burton is using a combination of live action and performance-capture technology to tell the Lewis Carroll story.

The APA-repped Glover is no stranger to performance-capture technology: He worked in the medium for "Beowulf."

Let's hope they get some of that famous George McFly laugh in to Wonderland, it's a perfect fit. Here is some of George in action, not his famous laugh, but something that is a little more relevant to today's times.
